Terms of Use
This guide is general information to help you plan a first SOC 2 audit, not advice. You may read, use and quote it for personal and internal business purposes with a link back. Israeli law governs these terms.
What do these terms cover?
These terms apply when you use SOC 2 Startup Guide at soc2startups.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who runs the site?
The site is published by Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. ("we", "us"). You can reach us through the contact form.
Is this advice?
No. Everything here is general information. It is not legal, compliance, security, financial or purchasing advice. For decisions about your own audit, talk to your auditor and your advisers.
How we score
Scores are an editorial assessment and follow the methodology published on How we score. Scores move only when the published facts move.
How accurate is the vendor information?
Vendor information comes from public vendor pages on the dates shown next to each fact. Vendors change their pages, plans and prices. Confirm details with the vendor before you buy.
Who owns the product names?
Product and company names belong to their owners. Using them here does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those owners.
How may you use our content?
The site's text, data, scoring tables and design belong to us. You may read and use them for personal and internal business purposes, and quote short passages with attribution to SOC 2 Startup Guide and a link to the page. Republishing whole pages or the scoring data needs our written permission.
What is not allowed?
- Scraping or automated access that slows the site or harms other readers.
- Attempts to probe, break or bypass the site's security.
- Any use that breaks the law or the rights of others.
What about links to other sites?
We link to vendor pages and other sources so you can check facts. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
What are the limits of our responsibility?
To the extent the law allows, the site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it or reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
How do you report a copyright issue?
See our Copyright and DMCA policy.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
Can these terms change?
Yes. We update this page and the "Last updated" date when they do. Questions go through the contact form.
